About Chanel
My name Is Chanel C White. You are probably asking yourself if that’s real. Yes, absolutely. It’s on my birth certificate and all! Ironically it half matches my nationality which is Filipino and French. My parents probably knew I was planning to be somebody that exuded confidence, class and creativity; mahalo family! I’m very passionate about photography and love to capture memories. Some of my favorite things to do is traveling to other countries, hiking exotic location, and being part mermaid in beautiful Hawaii Nei.
I was born and raised in Oahu, later, I got to enjoy the flashing lights of Las Vegas. Where I was also surrounded by beautiful scenery and hikes in Nevada. After a while I moved to lovely San Diego where I continued falling in love with nature and developed my photography skills. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology at SDSU and then moved back home to Oahu. My degree helps me relate, connect, and understand my clients.
In my eyes, photography is about capturing moments, beauty and showing people a side of them that they do not get to see often. I love the storytelling that evolves from working with new people and amazing places. I want to help women celebrate themselves and capture the love between couples and families. I feel that my love for photography shows passion and intimacy; when people see the finished result, they often say “ That’s not me!”. I want to be there for you whether you are marrying the person of your dreams, doing the Photoshoot for self love or simply wanting to capture special moments of your life. Regardless of what it is, helping you to capture your special moments and memories is important to me.
